Jody Fulton at work on a combine

Hi, I'm Jody.
I detail the big stuff.

The Detail Junction started with a ladder, a polisher, and a refusal to hand back anything less than spotless. Based in Fergus and serving Centre Wellington and the surrounding countryside, I cut, polish and ceramic-coat tractors, trucks and cars for people who take pride in their machines and want top dollar when it's time to sell.

No crew, no shortcuts. When you book the Junction, the person who answers the phone is the same one up the ladder with the polisher.

Questions people
actually ask.

How much does it cost to detail a tractor?

A cab and interior deep-clean starts at $150. A multi-stage cut, polish and sealant wax starts at $500. A full cut, polish and ceramic coating starts at $1,200. Every machine is priced on its own because size and condition change the hours involved, and travel past a 30-minute radius is $0.60/km. You get a firm price before any work starts.

What areas does The Detail Junction serve?

Fergus and Elora first, then the rest of Centre Wellington and Wellington County: Guelph, Arthur, Drayton, Mount Forest, Rockwood and Erin. Jobs further out are welcome, they just carry a travel charge of $0.60/km past a 30-minute radius.

Do you come to the farm, and what do you need on site?

Yes, all work is done at your place. I bring the polisher, the compounds and the rest of the kit and set up beside the machine. The one thing you have to supply is a water hookup at the spot where the equipment is being detailed. No water on site means the job can't go ahead, so it's worth sorting out before booking.

What kinds of machines do you detail?

Tractors are the specialty and the bulk of the work. Combines, sprayers, excavators, skid steers and loaders get the same treatment. Pickups, daily drivers and show vehicles are welcome too, with the same cut, polish, ceramic and interior work.

How do I get a quote?

Call or text 226-868-9205, say what the machine is, and send a couple of photos of the paint. That's almost always enough for a real number without anyone driving anywhere. Most jobs are finished in a single day once they're booked.

Who actually does the work?

Me, Jody Fulton. The Detail Junction is a one-woman operation, so the person who answers the phone is the same one up the ladder with the polisher. No crew, no subcontractors.
